THE ROENTGENOCEPHALOMETRIC STAND ARDS OF THE KOREANS ACCORING TO THE TWEED´S ANALYSIS

Abstract
|

|
For the purpose of investigating the values of the roentgenographic cephalometry of the Korean adults according to the Tweed´s analysis, 23 year old 25 males and 25 females with normal occlusion were selected and analyzed with their profile roentgenograms.
This research was Summarized in the form of tables, mean, standard deviation, mini-mum and maximum for 3 angular measurements-FMA, IMPA, FMIA-.
Following results were gained by the authors ;
1. Standard ´deviation chart was made from the measured values.
2. Measured values of the Koreans were compared to those of the white people and Japanese for the comparison of the degree of the lower central incisor protrusion. Japanese>The Koreans>White people (degree of protrusion).
3. Clinical application of Tweed´s analysis was mentioned additionally for the clinical practice.
